I'm in charge of … ne demek?
"I'm in charge of …." Türkçede "… benim sorumluluğumda." demektir ve iş yerinde hangi konudan ya da görevden sorumlu olunduğunu anlatmanın net yoludur. Kendini tanıtırken, bir sorunun muhatabının kim olduğunu belirtirken ya da yeni bir görev üstlenildiğini duyururken kullanılır. Okunuşu "aym in çarc ıv …." şeklindedir. Örneğin "This year, I'm in charge of hiring." (dis yir, aym in çarc ıv hayırin.) cümlesi "Bu yıl işe alım benim sorumluluğumda." demektir. "Of" edatından sonra boşluğa bir isim ya da -ing almış bir fiil gelir: the new project, the team's schedule, customer complaints, hiring gibi. En yaygın hata "I'm responsible from the new project." demektir; doğrusu "I'm in charge of the new project." biçimidir. Türkçedeki "-den sorumlu" yapısı "from" kullanmaya iter, ama İngilizcede "in charge of" ya da "responsible for" denir.
